ok, srsly. the more i am watching and researching TT's the more i like. they can make the same RWHP/~RWTQ as the largest Twin Screw blower (3.4 Whipple) but - on lower boost and lower timing i.e. less stress on the stock internals. and turning up the wick is as easy as turning a dial in the driver's seat as opposed to changing pullies/belts...

the best part - i have tallied up the price of THP's TT 57mm kit and it comes in at the EXACT same price as converting to the 3.4 Whipple with all the supporting mods. the down side - more complicated install.

here is the THP kit: http://www.turbohorsepower.com/4vcomponents.html

not to mention it looks sick under the hood:http://www.turbohorsepower.com/front2.html

the thing that worries me is the stock internals and the 4 thread heads on my sled.... so i'm looking for input from you turbo guys as to which you would choose and why. boost - i would really like to check out your car for some first hand input on the TT turbo option for our cars. would also like to hear from PhillySVT if your still active here...

for simplicity I'd go Whipple. It can make pwer then you'll ever need easier to diagnose problems, it'll be quicker to get up an running, no need to swap front suspension, etc..

the THP kit includes the kmember and control arm's, all of which i am planning on upgrading either option i choose. idk man, i just took the car to get gas and go into it a bit and the instant torque is sooooo nice....

the issue i have with the whipple is that 700rwhp requires 20+lbs of boost and at least Torco to add or mix with race gas. where as a TT setup could do that with 15-18lbs. on 93 pump, less of a chance of blowing a plug out of the head or having to stud the block for head lift issues...

which is why i'd like ot take a look at boost's car to help make a decision

I'd talk to jace, he'd be able to build you a kit, install it and have it tuned. He's done a 4v new edge car (carlos's, made 470+whp on 9 lbs...). He's also currently working on a '96 Mystic Cobra car with a built motor that should see around ~525whp on 10psi a the Master Power T70. Trust me, talk to him. You wouldn't be disappointed.

With twin 60's on a 4v motor, I'd be afraid lol It'd make a good bit of power even on 15psi.
